Motel 6 Amarillo, TX - Airport

Last year I stayed at the Red roof inn in amarillo. I was highly dissatisfied with my experience there. This year I decided to try motel 6. I've stayed at numerous motel 6s in the past, and this one is a reasonably close to most of them. You know what you're going to get with motel 6. Room with clean sheets, low prices clean sheets, and not much else. I can recommend this motel for low prices and pet friendly. The front desk people are also very personable. Internet was not very good. This is not a good son to her plan, go with at&t. I got ultra wide occasionally. T-Mobile also is good as usual. Even Verizon's totally usable. This is definitely a budget motel, but the price was right! The location is excellent and the room was clean. The floor has a taped patch but it didn’t bother us- everything else was fine. It had a microwave and a small fridge. The housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient.

This has to be cleanest motel 6 I have ever been to. The room had no carpet, and seemed updated. The bed was very comfortable too. It did seem shady from exterior but not interior. When we checked in it was mostly families with kids around. Stayed just a night while road trip and this was way beyond awesome for such a cheap price.

A decent place to stay. Priced high for the value. Should be $50/night. Pretty noisy area! Great location.

I always stay in this hotel when I’m in town. But the room, wasnt the best. The ac/heat didn’t work, and it was being held together by tape. And the fan to circulate air worked for a minute than would shut off. When we checked it the girl was very pleasant but the gentlemen that came from the back didn’t seem very interested in making sure we got the next stay. He rushed her to get use checked in.

Yeah... it's definitely a budget room. But Maria, at the front desk, was great! As was our customer service representative on the phone. We made an error when reserving the room. With the help of M6 customer service, Maria was able to correct the mistake and get us in a room quickly. Property felt safe, even when my dog wanted to walk at 4am. I would stay at this location again.

I usually stay here when I go home to visit.the staff is superb and professional. The rooms are clean, the only thing is they need to be updated somewhat. And the price is a little high but not to much so...

My family’s experience was amazing! The beds were nice and neat, the bathroom was squeaky clean, and there were no bugs! I love that there were no stains or wet spots on the bed! However I do have some concerns: Our room had a leaky fridge. I also want to give a shout out to hardworking Laura. She did such a good job cleaning our rooms!
